i like your axies ^^:D

Beautiful. Okay dumb question; are they still juveniles or are they full grown? I'm new to this, mine are five inches and not sure how much bigger they will get.

Haha looks light they've been hit by lightning in this one ;)
Cute healthy axies :D

I think it looks like a scene from the titantic! Where that chick is at the front of the titantic and her arms are out behind her... Yeah I haven't seen the titantic so I don't know names but everyone knows that scene!!!

Sorry I'm so behind in checking my posts!!! These guys were about 6 months at this time, so juvies. Now I have some that seemed to slow down at 6 inches (a male who is developed) and still growing at 8 inches!! It can vary widely based on their genetics.

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
