Water very murky

Hello all,
Lately I've been noticing a little build up of junk in the corner of my tank. It's like little flakes of some sort. I always try to get it out but I can never seem to get it all gone. Yesterday I was feeding my axolotl and noticed it was a lot of junk build up. I sucked all I could out and all was good. My axie pooped and I sucked that up but some was behind the moss ball and I didn't see it all day. Long story short by the end of the night my water was very dirty and murky and I don't know what to do. I did a water change and that didn't work. I even put a stronger filter in (it was in another cycled aquarium I had I just switched them) the filter helped a little but not by much.

Any advice?

What are your current water parameters?
Could you also post some pictures as this will help us to investigate the problem.

It's the 'junk' you can't see which should be of concern.
Solid particulates from eg dead plants, left over food, faeces, can be moved about the tank with the movement of water and settle in places where water doesn't move eg next to rocks, corner or the tank. This is easily siphoned off. This might break down further biologically producing nitrates etc which could be harmful and a water change deals with this. I have dead leaves (beech) in my tank which do degrade over time but I like to keep it aerated to prevent anaerobic regions and their associated bacteria building up.

The problem seems to be gone. That new filter really helped! That was weird. Maybe my filter wasn't strong enough
