Just a preface, theres nothing wrong with my lotl, just a pest question -

So I noticed these tiny things on the glass a couple months ago, and initially thought they were eggs - Schmidt lays eggs pretty frequently (she's alone in the tank) - but on closer inspection they were little wormy/slug like things crawling around on the glass. They're smaller than eggs, maybe a millimeter long, and they kinda stay together in a colony on the glass. They never seemed to bother her, or leave the glass, so i scraped them off periodically with an algae scraper. I just moved her tank, drained it and let the glass dry - and i don't see the little buggers anymore.... Does anyone know what they are and if they are a health concern to my lotl?

Cleaning up uneaten food regularly as well as removing the white things by hand as they appear on the glass will help to keep their numbers in check.

Good to know - thank you for your input everyone. I probably won't try to eradicate them if they aren't harmful ~
