What subspecies of Tiger Salamander is this?

Looking for any guidance on what subspecies this is. It looks maybe blotched, but I’m not certain. Does not look like an Eastern or typical barred.

Most likely a blotched, maybe a grey barred, possibly a eastern that is extremely grey. The latter two are unlikely.

to me they look like a tiger salamander and axolotl hybrid by the slimmer body and oval like head and the legs look a little smaller closer to a axolotl

They look like that when young and grow in to their heads with age. I know from experience.

I’m pretty sure they are blotched. Here are more recent pics. Either way I like the color pattern

Thanks! Yeah, it was hard to tell for first several months. Since you brought up, I looked at some pics of the hybrids. Really interesting stuff
