What aquarium lights would you recommend for axolotls?

I know axolotls like very low light, which is why I keep my axolotl in the coldest, darkest place in the room. But the issue is I really struggle to see when I have to do something like feeding them or cleaning the tank. I've heard some are okay for a short time, but I don't know which. Any recommendations?

I actually have a small light, like one I got from a hardware store that you just press on it, it turns on. Battery powered. I just nailed it to the wall on the side of her tank. Also, a small flashlight is what I use if I have to check on my axolotl late at night.

To answer such a question, we need to know if yo've got plants in the tank with the axolotls.
Axolotls do fine with a lot of plants which improve and stabilize water quality.
Even with additional light, if there is a lot of plants, there will be enough shade for the axolotls.

I have a small anubias nana and three marimo moss balls, they do have two hides they could poke their head into as well. I only intend to turn it on when I need to see where they are, because at night its like a void.
