Not upgrading to wigglers...

Hey there!
I have three axolotls. Two are about 5 months old and in a 20 gallon tank together They are doing well together.
My Problems:
I feel like they're growing really slowly. My golden will eat wigglers chopped up, but my blue gill will only eat pellets or bloodworms. They are both the same size, which is good, but they are not growing really (maybe a half inch since I got them a month ago) and they prefer pellets over worms. Any stories or suggestions? Thanks in advance!

do you have any progression pictures? pellets should be good - the ones i use are 41% protein and facilitate growth wonderfully
i also sometimes get concerned when i feel like my own axie isn't growing enough, sometimes just leaving them be and checking in later is helpful

one more thing - i’d keep them separated unless you have a good idea of their genders - don’t want babies (i assume lol)

also, forgot to mention, i additionally use earthworms - they’re healthy and keep your axie‘s gills full and gorgeous (at least in my experience)

UPDATE: They moved up to crawlers! Guess they were just late bloomers
