Hi all, this is my first time posting here. I have recently noticed a splotch on my 4-year-old axolotl. I have a feeling this will require a salt bath but I would like to make sure before putting her through that.

This appears to be the only spot, but there is something behind her right arm. Can anyone offer advice?

Thank you all in advance!

From what i can see I wouldnt worry too much. It looks like one of those spots on the ground that just stuck onto her skin, try see if she swims does it fall of? Or it could be the slime coat shed a bit and something got attached to it. If she starts to develop more i would probably get it checked at a vet. Im sorry i have never seen anything like that.

Please help me. I don't know what this is or how to treat it. I have already been fridging and doing salt baths.
