is it possible for axolotls to have like, better than usual immune systems? because my mudkip will sometimes get like a tiny spot of fungus for like a day, then her body fights it off naturally and then it doesn’t appear again for months. this has happened maybe three times. i just am impressed that she can fight it off when most need tea baths and treatments. i wanted to ask if this was even possible//normal? i just find her to be my little oddball

The answer is difficult because Immune system is a defense against infections (attacks).
So, your axolotl may be seldom ill because it has a good defense (immune system) or because it suffers few attacks (fair environment, good husbandry)
