Hey guy I’m new here. I have a baby axolotl and I’m new to this. He is about 4in long and eating bloodworms everyday. What else do I need it incorporate into his diet and how much should he be eating? Also a guess on his age?
As he grows, you'll want to begin using the blood worms like a treat vs his main food source. Earth worms/ night crawlers are a great, well rounded food choice for axolotls, which is what I feed mine. Yours is still pretty small, so you'd want to cut the earth worms up into bite-sized pieces so it's easier to eat. As for food amounts, most people say that whatever the axolotl eats in about 3 minutes is a good amount. Hope this helps!
Very pretty axolotl, by the way!

Thank you for replying! One more question, I read that I could re freeze the worms but how many times can you do that is it bad to do that more than once?

I would think it's just fine to refreeze them as long as they appear fresh and they don't get dried out or freezer burned! If you seal them in a bag or container you could probably refreeze them many times with no issues
