My axolotl usually gets fed a night crawler every night, and this week she hasn’t eaten for 5 days so far. Just noticed tonight that she has a protrusion from her cochlea. I’ll attach pictures. She is in a tank with another female, no males. It looks like eggs coming out but I don’t get how that would be happening? I now have her isolated and in the fridge for the time being, just did the isolation and stuff last night.

calling @wolfen and @JM29 because they're good at this sort of thing.
i've never dealt with this and i can't give a good answer

your axolotl needs to be taken to a vet to have the prolapse looked at, because she has also gone of food at the same time as prolapsing she could be constipated.
use holtfreters solution in the water along with 0.2g magnesium sulphate. info on how to make here Axolotls - Requirements & Water Conditions in Captivity

Sorry, nothing to add for the moment.

For the future, if she is prone to constipation, try to vary her food :
Nightcrawlers are very good but lack chitinous elements which would favor the transit.
give also daphnias from time to time.

She has passed away. I brought her to the vet, she had surgery and they had to staple her cochlea back together. It must’ve been too much stress because she passed this morning at home. I’m heart broken

i'm deeply sorry for your loss, losing an animal is never easy.
you did everything you could by taking her to a vet and even paying for surgery, and she sounds dearly loved. sometimes the stress is just too much for animals.
sending you love,
- ren
