How can you keep terrestrial salamanders cold?

I keep my tiger salamander in my room, wich is upstairs, I usually just keep a fan on or have my window open if it’s not to hot outside, if you have a paludarium then I would look into putting a water chiller in there to let the salamander cool down it it feels too warm.

i keep axolotls, but i think my system works well. get a small USB port fan that you can either clip onto or rest on top of the lid for your enclosure. one works wonders for me, but you may need more. i suggest one with adjustable fan speeds

What temps are you all trying to get your water to? I have firebelly newts and can’t seem to get the temp below 19 C and it’s not even warm here yet.
