I have always loved spotted leucistics, and it seems like Momo will be one. They're fairly faint, and it's difficult to see in these pictures. They are there though! :D

oish - Momo is a little cutie huh?

Thanks! I think she's positively adorable. She and Toothless are getting so big and so pretty. I can't get a good picture of Toothless's color though.

she's so pretty! Her gills are soooo long...

How do people get the gills so long?!

My leucistics spots started out very faint and hard to see but now only after about a month they are much more pronounced, she is about 3inches now.

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
