Hi, i am new to this site and new to owning axolotls. I got my axolotl about a week and a half ago. I believe its a leucistic as it is white with black eyes, when i bought it the guy at the pet store told me to put gravel in the tank, he never said anything about it swallowing anything!
I noticed that my axie wasn't eating so i started research and found out that gravel is a no no. So i immediately took the gravel out! He still wasnt eating so i started trying to figure out why, i looked at his belly and noticed that there is a dark round spot (that wasnt there when i got him) and i found that he could have swallowed a pebble. He is currently in the fridge, i just put him in there a couple days ago. i still offer him food everyday, he was just swimming away from the food. But today he ate 2 bloodworms. Then he threw them up. Is this ok?
How long will it take for the pebble to pass with his size? What do i do if the pebble doesnt pass?
There are no vets that are around me that work with amphibians. Not that i. Have found anyway. Im afraid this will kill him
