2008 Year of the Frog

AZA (Association of Zoos and Aquariums) has declared 2008 the "Year of the Frog". Beginning on February 29th and lasting throughout the year, zoos and aquariums across the country will celebrate Leap Day to promote amphibian conservation. AZA is also working closely with world-wide partners to develop and implement a global action plan for amphibian conservation:
