Hey all, I just bought a 40 gallon breeder tank and decided that I'd like to try and make a 3D background similar to this one:
DIY 3D Aquarium Background ( start to finish ) - YouTube

I'm thinking of only putting it in one corner.

If anyone has made one of these, I'd love to see pictures, or hear any tips!

(I might purchase a 10gallon tank for practice, haha)

Thanks!

I'm working on one at the current moment as well. Great minds think alike. It's not for my axies right now though. The only thing you would have to remember is not to make the edges too sharp. It's fun building things on your own but it's so hard to find the time to do it.

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
