3rd DYING AXOLOTL!!!!!

i siphon the bottom of the tank. She ate a worm today!!!!!!!!!!!1...apparently my nitrite test kits are wrong, think joan? said so once....coz she was showing symptoms of toxicity, btu i changed 50% every week and like yeh....so i don't bother testing
but her tank is being changed 20% almost every day now incase i recycled it.
i might test it later, but like i said, apparently its out of date and wrong so yeh, im gunna buy this new test strip one when it comes in stock.

i added some live plants to help eat the bad things, i wrinced them out throughly and scrubbed them down so they wont introduce nasties and then i let them dry out and planted them...
she isnt lookin so skinny but she still hasn't eaten since.... i will continue tho...she should be good soon.
actually im gunna try feed her again right now!

ok she ate 3 worms, then the fourth she wasn't impressed coz it was fresh from the fridge and wriggled too much! so now i know she has her appetite back i think she is well on her way to 100% condition!!! thanks guys for all youre help! i will never add chemicals again!

ok guys just a little message saying CRISIS OVER! she has a hearty appetite for this different brand of beef heart- i know its bad but its a big piece of food that fills her up quickly! I still give her the odd worm and pellets, but i wanna try her out on some blood worms ( i wanna buy a glass first so the mess will be some what contained and she has more of a chance of getting some in her mouth.)
Yep so she is putting on weight nicely and is very well!!

That's great to hear Teesha. Ours don't get fed bloodworm cube as too much of a mess, but I do manage to feed live bloodworm (handfeed) and earthworms (occasional strips of oxheart - many months since I last did though - never use the beef cubes the petshops; cheaper to just buy the meat and cut when needed).
