Hi everyone. I've been using caudata.org for info on my newt collection for a while now and recently joined. Thought I should say Hi!
I have a small collection consisting of four Chinese fire-bellies (C. orientalis) called D'Artagnan, Snockrigg, Merlin and Steve McQueen.
Also have an adult axolotl called Wilson, who I actually think is female but after years of referring to her as a 'he' I've decided to overlook this fact and continue to label her as a him!
My most recent addition to the collection is a Chinese warty newt (P. chinensis) called Cerberus. Originally he was called Gilbert before he attacked and killed his other tank-mates, and thus re-named after the demon dog of hell... but he is still beloved :happy:
There's also a fish called Spalding which lives in a tank by the TV and enjoys watching BBC News 24...
