We just x-rayed our female to make sure she had excreted all her stones, and this is what we saw. It looks more like a growth than a stone to me. Her behavior is totally normal, and she's eating and pooing like a champ.

Thoughts?

Great news! We took more x-rays using dental film which allows for better resolution in axies and more detail. We did that on Friday, I think, and it showed 3 stones. Over the weekend, she got out....3 stones! :D We just did another full body xray this morning, and she's stone free! :D

We are keeping her in the fridge today so we can do a water change this morning. We'll warm her up over night, and put her back in her home tomorrow morning. We're so excited!

We don't have any gravel -- we got these two axolotls from a co-worker who had them on gravel and was feeding them turtle pellets.

Our axies are on a bare bottom tank eating earthworms. :)
