Can you please do those animals a favour. Re -home them or give them a decent setup like foster reeves or please look on caudata.culture for inspiration.
Pardon my foul language but that setup for those animals is ****ing horrendous. They are an endangered species.
Have you tried giving the newts a dry area with a hide
and a damp area as well
they will do better with this and a clean water bowl, preferably refreshed every other day. Also i would be trying to feed them earthworms and not waxworms all the time.
have a look at foster Reeves setup photos on your link .Can you not try something like his?
I don't mean to be rude i just see those animals and want to take care of them.I have lost very rare beautiful animals out of my own stupidity. Please help them

I fully agree with Cyclone. The setup is very far from a good setup. You should read more about the species and know their true needs.
Foster Reves is indeed a good reference in crocodile newts in general.
Cheers,

i will try it,thanks

I've bred E. andersoni for several years now. I would be suprised if your animals survive at this point. They are in horible body condition. E. andersoni are fairly hardy, but once they start to decline they crash quickly.

Is THIS seriously a joke?! You buy this species which in all honesty are properly one a very few pairs in the UK and you have basically provided them nothing that they need!!! And unlike Cyclone, I don't care if this appears rude, you have no idea how to look after this species and you continue to just make it look like you have no experience at all....

Do these poor individual's a favor, sell them to someone in the UK that has got them or someone who would be able to provide the right set up and give them the right care without having to learn while doing it...
