I was working today, and looked under a board (couldnt help myself, even with snow on the ground and temps in the 20's) only to find some salamander eggs. There were several clutches, but no one tending them. Only one clutch looks fertile (seemed to have larvae). So Im wondering what kind they could be. I dont want to rule out opacum, but from what I know of them, the place doesnt seem to fit their needs. I plan on posting some pictures when I get a chance. Im also going to try to do a little research. Just figured I ask around here first. It is winter and all and I think we could use a post. Locale is southern Ohio.
