Acting differently

Hi guys,

So My axie Nanno is about 10 months, water parameters are normal and has been feeding normally although ... At the weekend I went over to a friends and wasn't back untill the next evening, was well fed while I was away as usual but, when I got home Nanno has been different. He would usually be excited to see me and swim up and down the glass when in go over, but since Sunday night he has been hiding in his toy car and sitting in the corner of the tank with his head on the ground ignoring me except for food.

Is he just a grumpy teen or could there be something else going on?

In all seriousness, what is you temp. And actual parameters? Anything visibly abnormal looking? Gills?

Took water sample to the fish shop and Nitrite and Ammonia is 0, water temperature is aboutn19-20 degrees. He looks as he always is except slightly paler gills

Just enjoying some quiet time maybe? Who's to say, really, they don't always fly around all over the place at that age. Time catches up to us all eventually! The paler gills are probably just due to inactivity. If you don't have one already, an airstone would help. I strongly recommend getting a water testing kit of your own, however, because its much more convenient and you can nip problems in the bud with your water quality if you notice them soon enough.

I think he's sulking. I went away for 3 days had my mum feed him, he wasn't happy!! Took him 2 days to get over it lol :rofl:
