Can i keep an adult axolotl with a juvenile he is almost 2x as big. If now will putting in a divider be ok. Or should i just house him in a separate tank until they are the same size?

they are 2-3 inches the adult is 7 inches not shore of cm.

I would not put them in together. When the little ones are closer to 5 inches, then you can probably safely put them in together.

So should i just use a seperate cage completly or will a devider work?

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
