Ali has gotten worse

Thank you so much for that. You know, it's concerned well wishers like yourself, rooting for her wellbeing that makes everything worthwhile. We'll never give up on her and it looks like she'll never give up either. But she is a cutie aye?.....
Thank you so much again and those concerned who have followed her progress.... We will keep you updated... Thanx again..

Thanx tammyaxie, today her tummy has actually gone down, not by much but its getting there..
Thanx studiov13, I'm sure alot of people feel the same way. I had to stop my daughter form going over to see her friend for that reason....

Here are the photo's of Ali taken just now... She's such a cutie, a tough, fighting little cutie
She is absolutely gorgeous!!!

She is doing well. Her tummy is going down slowly but progressively... I'm just glad that her progress is toward the better than the worse... She's a funny little thing, she doesn't like being on her back and she's constantly fighter to turn over. I cup my hands in the water and she'll swim into them. I'll turn her over and she'll lie in my hands for ages. My hands turn blue and numb from the freezing water and do you think she has sympathy for me??... No haha

Thank you Xavier

You can put a small platform just under the surface of the water for her to sit on to stay right-side-up. I don't have a favorite method, but I know people have done similar things in the tank set-up section to make multi-level tanks. We don't want your hands turning blue.

Thank you Laura I'll try that tonight with a half pipe.. If it works, you've saved my blue hands...haha

Ali's progress is slow but it is progress she still resides in the fridge. She ate a tiny piece of liver yesterday and had a poop today.... here are some pics of her today... I could never give up on a cutie face like that

I am sorry for the slow update but I have spent endless hours and days emailing all around the world for cure's and I basically get the same message... I don't really want to say what they were... Anyway there were some good people and uni' labs that gave good advice and helped in every way they could... Unfortunately she got worse and about 4 weeks ago she began coughing up blood and hemorrhaging.. My heart dropped and my daughter cried. I put her back in the fridge and in the morning she was still alive but her water was red. I turned her the right way up and held her submerged for well over an hour.. I put her in the fridge and in the morning she was still alive... So I held her again for well over an hour... Within a few days the hemorrhaging and coughing of blood stopped... She hadn't eaten for well over a month... Her stomach is huge, but she is still alive and now eating and pooping. Everyday I hold her right way up until she's ready to eat... She is truly a fighter but I've resigned to the fact that she will live the rest of her life in the fridge....

Hi there.

Just wanted to say seeing you post made me cry. The poor little thing. My heart bleeds for your axie. Is your axie still fighting the good fight? It has been a while since you have posted and I wondered how things were going.

It's so rare to see a pet owner be so attentive and caring.

Whilst I was at the aquarium I happened to hear someone talk about putting a fish in a sling to prevent it from being upside down. Whilst I couldn't find the video they had been sent by a customer on youtube I did find one similar. I thought I may mention it just in-case it might be of benefit to you at all for Ali.

I wish you and your axie the best and it that it gets what it needs so as to be out of pain/suffering as soon as it can.

My best wishes.
