Ambystoma maculatum eggs?

Myself and my middle son were exploring some seasonal pools and found this egg mass. We are newbies at determining what amphibians laid what egg mass. We suspected spotted salamander but the egg sac seems a bit bumpy making me wonder if it was indeed spotteds.

Would you be able to post another picture of some of the hatchlings?

No other good pictures, sorry!

Clear balancers and speckled olive coloured bodies and pale golden eyes.
 
Do you think they don't looklike spotteds?
