Ambystoma mavortium and A. tigrinum, helping you ID your salamander.

Took a few pictures today of 2 young tiger salamanders. There's obvious differences in head shape and eye position. Hope this may help people identify their salamanders. Also I hope others can contribute their own photos of differences between species.

There are other physical differences but I chose to focus on head shape.

Yeah, looking at that picture, comparing mavitorium to tigrinum, mavitorium has a californinese head shape compared to tigrinum
