I went to move some of my clutches today. I usually seperate them from the adults and place them in a smaller container at ~50-60 days. Well, apparently either these lugubris hatched early or I wrote their deposit date down wrong.

At least I got to these flav eggs in time.

I'm so in love with Aneides species, I really enjoy your topics about them, thanks for sharing and keep up the good work with this stunning species.

Do you think that you lost any Rust?

They could escape through the vent holes if I left them in there much longer. But typically for the first few weeks they will stay clustered together at the hatch site. You can see that the female was still guarding them after they hatched. I'm going to move them this after noon. That'll be a chore, removing each peice of bark, one at a time, to make sure I don't miss any.
