I am a brand new member of Caudata.org and this is my first post. A little more than a year ago, I became an ignorant, inexperienced caretaker of a group of Arboreal Salamanders. While searching, rather desparately, for information on how to care for these remarkable creatures, I came across Caudata.org and these forums, and learned enough to be willing to carry on and attempt to care for my new charges.
The payoff came tonight when I returned home from the theater to find that my mated pair had produced a clutch of eggs.
Thank you to John Clare and all the posters in this forum over the years for helping me and the salamanders.
Now to begin anew the process of educating myself about next steps with eggs. A daunting task!
Thanks again.
