I'm tired of seeing so many video failures! I know there are tons out there on Youtube and other sites. I came across this one and it makes me freak out! This is a video of someone feeding their Axolotls WC Alpines Newts. To make matters even worse, they claim to have collected the Alpine newts themselves. I'd like to talk to this person!

Anyone else out there coming across any failure videos? I guess we can "rag and rip" the people making these videos as a form of therapy. Also for educational use I'll say here is a video of what you shouldn't do!

Here is another great fail. WTF is a amphibian swim party? I guess for fun people throw non-aquatic toads and salamanders in what looks like a tub to watch them swim. It sounds like the water is running while the animals are swimming around in a bath tub or sink. DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME!

Argh...i hate people.....

I'd like to throw a Youtube ******** party and throw them in a massive pool with some rather large Crocodylidae!

These people are really twisted!

WTF!!!!! and people ask me why i despair of humanity.

I know what you mean! In addition to politics, media brainwash, economics, and destruction. What is the purpose of humanity eh? Some people just don't get it.

I honestly don't think feeding your Axolotls live food is wrong. Just the fact that feeding it a potentially dangerous is meal is obviously not good. I know at some point we all had to learn and start from somewhere. I know I've made a lot of mistakes which lead to bad results. The only way to regain any self credit is to be a better/smarter keeper by learning from mistakes.

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
