Anyone raise their own worms?

Does anyone raise their own worms to feed their axolotls? I was considering trying it but I am not sure if I should raise red wiggles or night crawlers or both. Anyone have any success or failure stories (no judgment here).

Regular nightcrawlers are very difficult to raise. I prefer European nightcrawlers (Eisenia hortensis.) They do well on vegetable scraps and corn meal.
