For those of you looking for plants for your aquatic aquaria , here is a good site

http://www.plantsalive.co.uk

P.S i dont own it or know anyone who does it as just advertized in a magazine so i thought i would inform you of it :)

I bought some plants from them in the past. They had loads of snail eggs and one of them was in poor condition and later died but they did send some replacement when I emailed them.
I also used java-plant.com. The plants also had snail eggs but their leaflet said this happens and how you should treat the plants. I thought it was good of them to warn you at least.

I think both websites are ok.

My problem with buying plants was always the parasites...I think something came with each batch of plants I purchased, no matter where from.

what is wrong with snails they clean ya tank for ya

I know...but still I'm keeping my tanks snail-free. They are not the worst, of course - the eggs are visible and even afterwards you can pick the snails out.
Be careful with imported plants, though - if you look at Caudata Culture articles, there is a long list of critters you definitely don't want in your tank. I would recommend very good disinfection before putting anything new in a tank. Some things are impossible to get rid of once they're in.
