Hi Guy's, I was just wondering if there is anyone who knows of an Aquarium in the Brisbane Australia vacinity that sells Aquarium Chillers at a reasonable price:p. I know they are not cheap but there must be somewhere that is not a total rip off.. I'm relying on the frozen water bottle trick at the moment, which is working but my Axies were their happiest in the fridge. Thanks heaps in advance for any help.

I bought mine off ebay. Shipped out of sydney. I have a Resun 450 cost me $399. It hasnt missed a beat.

Thanks for that Shazza, I've been thinking that may be the way to go. In store I've been seeing anywhere from $500 to $1200...I will try ebay!

Hi there, I got mine from Guppy's Aquariums (online) for around $300- Hailea brand.

Was a lifesaver through those 40+ degree days through summer :)

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
