I know this has probably been asked before bit I can't find the thread. I have a lage tank (length) and would like to use an aquatic tank divider so that I can put different species in the same tank but still keep them seperate. Thoughts?

I have gotten glass cut to fit and siliconed it in place to make a half wet/dry tank, but if it were higher it could divide it completely.

I would say to make sure they are both healthy without a doubt because imagine if some are sick... Your healthy ones will get sick as well...

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
