Hello, i am from the UK and on Tuesday the 15th of February I ordered fie axolotl eggs. They were supposed to be delivered within two days but then storm Eunice hit. It was the worst storm we have had in 30 years with winds up to 100 miles per hour. Due to this, royal mail (the postal service) was forced to stop delivering for a while. They were in the post for six days. I have put them into new dechlorinated water. would anyone be able to tell me if the look like they are still alive or are OK. Thank you so much for you help

Your links do not work... How old are the eggs? They should at least be like a sort of bean shape if they are over a week old. If the eggs look cloudy, they are probably bad. I hung onto the ones I thought were bad for about a week before getting rid of them, because they were dead. (they were just laid infertile, I believe.) Just watch them for a few days. If they don't develop and start getting more cloudy and gross looking they are most likely no good. I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I hope that was helpful.

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
