Hi all!

I have a few alpine newts (Ichtyosaura Alpistris Apuana) and I didnt think much of it but my boyfriend claims these might be newt eggs. Im thinking more that it’s probably something of the plants.

Picture isnt the best, but in centre you see the yellow circle in a seeming eggsack. Theres amano shrimp and some snails in the tank as well. I was thinking it was just from the plant but now looking again I see some in the java moss and other plants as well. Some seem to be hairy in a way?

Are these possibly newt eggs?
Should I put them in a separate tank? This one is 60L but with all going on idk if I can manage babies in this tank(like keep an eye on and make sure all is well etc). Or should I not worry as much about that?
If I take them out to put in a nursery tank: should i take them out with the plants and all?
Any advice on what it could be if not newt eggs?

Thank you all!

The picture isn't clear enough for me to see if it's a newt egg, but if you describe that you see more of them scattered around the moss than these could be newt eggs. Especially if you describe some of them to be "hairy", which would implicate that these ones are moldy. This means they're not fertilized in most cases. A "good" egg should be transparant with a white round nucleus in the middle. It should be just a little smaller than a pea. If they're fertilized you would see embryo development within 2 days.
