Just wanted to share this very very cool pic of a crocodile and python fighting to the death!!

It doesn't look like they're fighting.

See how the snake's head is up? And the gator's arms are back? Both of those are relaxation postures. And how the snake's body is looped through the mouth, and the tail and head are both on the top-side of the gator? That wouldn't be a constriction hold. And if the snake was constricting, it would be biting too.

I'm betting the snake just saw the gator as a nice place to lay in the sun for a while. That's a risky choice of basking sites if you ask me!

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
