Illness/Sickness: Axie floating upside down refusing food

If his loss of appetite is due to whatever he ate and isn't passing, you should fridge him.
Not entirely sure if you can fridge axolotl babies this young, perhaps someone with more experience can answer this?

Dont fridge young axys its not part of the recommended treatment for them, would be surprised if it was impacted it has been starved the pic just looks like internal organs and gut. Do as I said provide small live food,it may eat , or may not, its been starved and may be past help. Not sure if its sensible to recommend force feeding such a young axolotl have to check with a pro about that.

I don't think anyone has suggested feeding white worms. Smaller than bloodworm and wriggle in the tank so stimulate your axie's instinct to snap at moving objects. (it worked for my smallest who was a bit slower to move onto bloodworm) Only need to drop in a few. They will live in the tank for a while so won't foul the water. Local fish breeders will have cultures.

Let us know how you get on :)

I'm tryin everything I can. I'm not sure how he's still alive. He doesn't move at all. I have to nudge him a bit just to see if he's still alive. Whatever is in his cloaca has been there for quite a while. I *think* it was there even before I went into the hospital. But he was eating alright then so I didn't think anything of it. Whatever it is that he can't pass, I'm afraid that's the problem and I don't know how to help. I don't want to lose him. ):

No, there was no algae... and snails don't just appear out of algae they had to come from something...

Anyway, he passed the object finally. It was a baby snail. But I'm afraid it's too late at this point. He's so lethargic that I can't even tell if he's alive or not anymore. And I've still had no success getting him to eat, or even act interested in food.
