My axie is now afraid of me. She used to come up to the front of the tank if I was there and since I fridged her for an ailment she has not been a happy camper. How long will she hold the grudge? She's making me feel like I was a total ******* to her.

First things first, DON'T FEEL BAD FOR DOING SOMETHING TO KEEP HER HEALTHY!!! Just like a kid (Human or fur) may throw a strop after you give them medicine, axies are just as prone to it. Doesn't change the fact that medical treatment often means the difference between life and death, just means you need to stick to your guns.
Secondly, perhaps it might be an idea to start wooing her back? When you feed her, make sure she sees your face, and perhaps add in some "junk food" to make you more of the good guy- by that I mean blood worms, and if you can get your hands on them, blackworms- both of which are good as part of a balanced diet, but taste especially nommy
Feed them by sucking them up with a turkey baster and squirting them right in front of her nose- they learn VERY quickly, so don't be too shocked if she decides wrestling with the turkey baster is fun. Also, maybe hand feed some earthworms- though make sure they're the tasty ones!

She's not really eating much and seems very disinterested in food. She spat out some fish dinner I gave her this morning and normally she loves that. As an aside, I am aware she has swallowed a stone (quite a while ago before I had a chance to change her to big girl stones) so I have this horrible fear that she's just not long for the world anyway. I'm currently making enquiries with vets about getting some assistance with this.

I just read your post and was wondering is your axoltl an adult? If so it's normal for them to eat three to four times a week.
It may be a fussy eater and only likes certain food. One of my axolotl absolutely refuses to eat earthworms while all the others love them. So maybe try some varieties in food and hopefully then she wants to eat.
I'm just curious what is fish dinner?
Perhaps she still isn't feeling well due to the reason before she was fridged and is still recovering... I look forward to reading what the vet says. Good luck for your axolotl.:lick:

I have thankfully had to cancel the vet appointment as I came home to find that Keating had vomited up the stone! What a champ.
She's about a year old I suspect - as in I have had her for nearly a year and she was about 4 to 5 inches long when I got her. I have no idea how to tell her age.
Fish dinner is something that some petshops stock as legitimate food for carnivorous fish, its beef heart and shrimp. I was sold some when I first bought her but have moved on to pellets. She seems to like it. I'm going to purchase some bloodworm/earthworms for her tomorrow and see how she feels about that. She has sucked in some of the fish dinner but had a little trouble swallowing it as I imagine her throat might be a bit sore.

That's good to hear that the stone came up. I'm sure your axolotl is not upset with you, I had to fridge mine also for over a month and there was no change in character. Maybe they have some good or bad days or she was still stressed by the gravel incident and that's why she doesn't say hi to you.
Hopefully you're little axolotl will start acting normal and feeling better soon.

Glad to hear she passed the stone! As for the personality change, from experience I've found axolotls have "mood swings" - probably sounds crazy, I know! I have 5 myself and they're all completely different! One of my girls is always friendly, coming to the glass if I so much as walk past, another can be friendly one day, then shun me the next.` I certainly wouldn't worry about it and am sure she'll be back to her normal self in no time. Like previously said, the fridging's probably been an odd experience for her so she just needs to readjust being back at home
