Illness/Sickness: Axie kicking at his gills.

I have never seen my axie do this before but today he just started kicking at both sets of gills and kinda thrashing around and gave me quite a scare. I just did a water change so all parameters are correct but the temp is a little high rn due to how hot it is in ga right now. tank it sitting at about 71. I don't want to give him a salt bath unless absolutely needed but i also have no idea where to start on a salt bath for my axie.

I just need some second opinions.
