Axolotl acting like dead one

I think my axolotl may have a lung infection, is there anyway i can treat this? My other axolotl died we think from a lung infection because her veins became very red and her mouth was larger than normal. My other axolotl looks the same but i cant see her veins because she is black.

You need to check your water. Ph, Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate, temp.

I'd suggest trying to find a vet who can treat axolotls if it's the same as last time.

It's most likely an issue with water quality. You can get kits to test it yourself or most aquatic shops can test your water, if not for free, for a small fee. They can also advise you on how to correct the problems in the water but it's usually just a case of better cleaning, more often. Bad water quality plays havoc with axolotl health and needs to be tested regularly.
