Question: Axolotl bubbles and overly active

One of my axolotls has spots that look like bubbles on its legs. It also is overly active because it's almost always swimming near the top of the tank and fast. I am wondering why my axolotls has bubbles on its leg and why it's acting so active?

Is your tank cycled and have you tested the parameters? could you post some photos? How old is your axolotl?

The tank is cycled and I have checked the parameters. At first the parameters were bad and the last time I checked them they were good. I will add some photos soon. My axotl Is around 8 or 9 months old

My biggest male axolotl has a bubble looking spot on his side, it looks almost like a blister. I've never been able to get it to go away and my tank parameters are fine, it makes me worry about him but he hasn't changed at all since it showed up.

What do you mean by the parameters being bad then good? Could you post the actual readings?

The water parameters are:
PH: 7.8
Ammonia: 0.25 ppm
Nitrite: 0 ppm
Nitrate: 5.0 ppm

These are the parameters since the last time I checked them. I haven't checked the parameters since 2 to 3 months ago.

You should be checking your parameters far more often (at least weekly in a cycled tank). It would be best to get fresh parameters go make sure there are no water quality issues contributing.

I can't really see the bubbles from the photos. Unfortunately the photos are not clear enough to see what is going on.

Thank you for your help I have noticed that the bubbles have started to go away and I think that I just got nervous for something I shouldn't have gotten so nervous about.
