Axolotl eating plants, safe?

Apparently my axolotls decided so shred a marimo moss ball into finger-tip size pieces. As I was watching Tuco decided to wolf down one of the big chunks of moss. Is it ok for her to eat marimo moss or plants in general? I also have riccia & java moss, java fern, marimo balls and anubias nana, and red dwarf lilies in with my axies.

I also notice the marimo chunks are heavily infested with black worms. I guess that's why she's going after them.

I've ordered some marimo balls for delivery in new year they are soooo cool!

The bonus is now you have lots of them just roll the new bits into balls & you'll have fun watching them grow
