My albino axolotl eggs are starting too hatch tonight!!!

That's so cool! My eggs started hatching as well!! :D

EMERGENCY!!!
All 80 eggs have hatched today!
Tried hatching another batch of brine and they choose not to hatch!!

Need food for these little guys!!!

They usually don't need to be fed for 3 or so days after they hatch, as they live off of the yolk they are born with, so you have some time.

Did you use the tutorial that is a sticky on this thread? Followed it to a tee and i got some to hatch my first batch( a lot didnt but im getting better)

Are you using enough salt? Light? Heat? Aeration? Thats really all they need.

Also i got a nice tip that every day after harvest. Save the water thats leftover, add a bit more water and salt and more eggs and start a new batch. It has worked wonders that way and i have plenty every 24hours!
Sometimes the water does get to gross and you have to start over(week or two)
Hope you get some food soon! Dont panic to much

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
