My axolotls both have fungus on their gills and I've put them in the fridge and given them salt baths as advised but its come back overnight but I was wandering if I could use normal fish fungus treatment?

Did you put them back in your tank?

I did a 50% WC before I put them back in the tank and the fungus did not come back

No I didnt do a water change before hand but checked for fungus before putting them back but thanks I probably should have though, do you know if general fish fungus stuff is ok to use for axolotls?

I'm no expert, but from what I've read most treatments that are ok for fish are not ok for axolotls. I would suggest to keep doing the salt baths as per the sticky, and do the water change as Bubilog suggests. Also keep an eye on your water parameters- I believe temperature especially- if it's high- can encourage fungus to grow.
