Axolotl has black spot. Could someone tell me if they know what it is.

How long has it been there? Does it appear to change in size or color?

I’ve noticed it in the last month or so and it has not changed as of yet

Mine also has a black spot on her head. I inherited her 6 weeks ago from the original owner who is leaving the country. She is 3 years old and the owner said "watch that black spot on her head, I don't know what it is". I have been so overwhelmed with getting my tank parameters correct that I haven't had time to worry about this black spot. But if you find out anything, please post! Thank you!
