Hello,
I need some help for my sick/injured axolotl.
About a week ago I noticed skin on his front leg looked like it was falling off. He is in the tank with his brother, so I thought maybe his brother attacked him. I moved him to a separate tank but it just keeps getting worse now.
I’ve been giving him daily complete water changes with dechlorinated water, he eats earthworms (although not very interested today), and his brother is doing perfectly fine and not showing any problems. They are about 3 years old.
Any suggestions on what I should do next? I’ve been reading about black tea baths (regular unsweetened Lipton tea is what I have), salt baths (I don’t think it’s fungus?), fridging? Vet?
