Hi ,I see on youtube a breeder selling blue melanoid and I will like to know if it is a thing and if yes how many diffenrent color a melanoid can have ...Thank you

'Blue' melanoids are actually black, they get the bluish sheen from the lack of yellow pigment.
Melanoid is a description that means the animal has no iridophores.they come in several colours - black/blue, grey/spotted, copper/chocolate, white albino and leucisitc.

Oh, thank you, i thought melanoid was always black all the time ...So if is not shiny like my golden albinos is a melanoid ...

I was curious because on Rena fish store I command a melanoid and the picture show a very deep black melanoid like a black velvet ...;3 I'm suppose to get it today in the mail

IM SCARE ;O LOL I hope he or she alive ...:errr:

My melanoid was black/purple when I first got him and he is slowly going green. :)
