Hey, everyone! I'm having a bit of a problem and I was hoping someone here might be able to help me out? I've done a ton of searching elsewhere and I've come up empty handed, so this is pretty much my last option.
A couple months or so ago, about a month and a half I believe, give or take a few weeks as I haven't really kept track, I brought home a new addition for my little axie community. Right off the bat, I noticed something was a little off with him as his movements were very unusual and awkward compared to his tankmates and I thought he looked a little undernourished but I passed it off because I figured he might have been a little underfed and once I got him home and had been feeding him for a couple days he'd be right as rain. He did seem to get a little healthier over the next few weeks but I noticed some rather unusual undigested stool around the tank occasionally (at the time I was feeding them frozen bloodworm cubes). Again, I didn't think much of it because I wasn't entirely sure which one of them was producing it and I figured that if anything it was only stress.
A few days later, however, I caught him in the act and I realized that it was, in fact, my new addition and that his stool almost always contained partially digested and even completely undigested bloodworms and that, on occasion, he would spit some of these half digested bloodworms back out.
Other than that, the little guy seemed to be pretty healthy. He's very lively, has an appetite, and there's absolutely nothing out of the ordinary in regards to his appearance.
Recently I switched them over to earthworms due to the fact that they're getting much too big for the bloodworms. His stool has been looking normal since then but I can't be sure since I can never tell whose is whose though he seems rather unhealthy again. He looks strangely skinny and undernourished and his movements are unusual compared to the other two and I just can't understand what the problem is.
And like I said, aside from looking a bit on the undernourished side, he looks very healthy and my other two are perfectly fine. It's just this one that I'm a little worried about so if anyone can help shed some light on what the problem might be, I'd really appreciate it!
