Axolotl passed what should I do with the body?

Hello, a few hours ago my axolotl has passed, he was a 14 year old axolotl named Inky. Unfortunately, his time has come for him to pass away. What should I do now with his body? I am planning to dig it up and make a memorial for him. I really loved him.

Aw, sorry about your loss. All my deceased pets have graves in our backyard with proper tombstones. We go down to the garden store and get big walkway stones, paint them, write on them, usually with outdoor paint, and then seal them. Except for our dogs, they're cremated and half in urns, the other than we scatter to a local lake.
