Axolotl with injured arm

This morning I have found my golden albino with quite a bad arm injury. It looks as though he has been bitten by one of his tank mates just above his "elbow" joint. I arm is sticking out to the side and is very swollen from the elbow down to the fingers. I have put him in the fridge to try to aid recovery. Is there anything more I can do is it just wait and see if he pulls through? He is very quiet and hardly moving. I'm concerned about it being so swollen and causing infection.
My axolotls have been a little stressed lately too. I had to re-cycle their tank after my nephew dumped glitter in their tank. They were immediately removed from the tank, sand thrown out and tank thoroughly cleaned and refilled with fresh water before they were returned to it but the re-cycling has thrown them a bit.

Keep him in cool, fresh, dechlorinated water until it grows back and keep an eye out for infection. If it does start to get infected you'll need to ask someone with more experience than me for what to do

You don't need to keep him in the fridge, but cooler is better and separate from the others is best.

Look out for the injury going fluffy, that'd be fungus.
If this happens you'll need to read up on salt baths.

Thank you for the replies. No sign of fungus. I will keep an eye on it.
There is no open wound. It just appear more to be broken and sticking out on a strange angle.
