So, today I got a new filter after my old one broke. It’s a aqueon pro 50 gal and has a strong output that I put my Axolotls hide under as a buffer. I’ve been told axos don’t like strong flows but she’s been laying under it on top of her hide. She also floats up or let it push her back down onto the plants😂😂 Also I can see if I can get better pictures but can anyone tell her gender? I believe it’s a she but idk. Here she is laying under the filter output😂

I would say that every animal is an individual. And that the most don't do well on a strong flow does not mean it is impossible for het to do. So I would say: keep an eye on it and if you see she does not like it, you will have to buy a new filter.

Okay! She doesn’t seemed stressed out by it at all, I put a few plastic plants by it as another buffer for while we are on vacation. It’s a brand new filter too, so the flow might be strong from that too. Thank u!
